What was the highlight of Via Inn Shinjuku

Excellent Choice for Staying in Shinjuku

The property is well located within walking distance of all the things to see in the area. But the hotel is on a quiet side street just far enough from the crowds. Good breakfast buffet. The Shinjuku Gyoen Gardens are also about only a 10 walk and worth a visit.

Close to Shinjuku station, clean small rooms, helpful and polite staff. Good for short stay.

The window we had was to the multi-level parking, not very nice view

Wonderful

Staff was friendly, overall place was clean and tidy. Room had a great view (corner, 12th floor). Location near Shinjuku San-Chome station, able to access most places with couple of transfers max. In a quiet corner of Shinjuku, just minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Simple business hotel, affordable and decent for the price and location.

Amenities are a bit lacking. Toothbrush, soap, etc were provided, but some basic ammenities such as razers come at a fee.

Good but they could be more lenient when they clearly have space.

Good location in a side street so nice & quiet

Check-in at 3pm, no reply to my request for a check in at 2pm and they clearly had a lot of space, and then 1000 yen extra just to check out at 11 instead of at 10 when again it was clearly not fully booked is a bit sad. They also charge 500 yen just to call a cab, that I think is very poor. I didn’t take up the offer.

Very convenient.

Via Inn Shinjuku is a good base for easy access to Shinjuku station, which is only a fifteen minutes walk away. The room is small, no frills, but it is very clean and has all you need. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The young gentlemen that greeted me when I arrived was kind enough to explain to me with clarity what the most convenient way was to reach the part of the station that I was looking for: not an easy task, when it comes to Shinjuku station! I was extremely grateful for his help.

The breakfast is nothing to write home about and the view from the bedroom window was a bit sad.

What was the highlight of Via Inn Shinjuku

Great value for money

I stayed here for 6 nights and I can say that this hotel was way better than I expected. The room is comfortable for 1 person but it can be a little challenging for 2 people. Hotel rooms in Japan are known to be quite small but this one was just enough for myself and a large suitcase. The cleanliness was absolutely fantastic, and the staff super friendly and helpful. The location was on a quiet but yet convenient place in Shinjuku area. Overall I had a great stay and I’d definitely stay here again.

The breakfast didn’t have many western options and the food available like the scrambled eggs, bacon etc were usually cold.

Easy stay in a great location

Great location and breakfast. Good value for money considering Tokyo hotel prices. Staff were all very accomodating

Rooms on par with a standard Tokyo size - bit small for 2 people but that was to be expected.

Clean, comfortable and spacious

Awesome showers - strong water pressure with instant warm water. Spacious room that is big for Japanese hotels. Good drip-bag coffee and tea bags provided.

Would be even better if breakfast can be packaged together.

Very Good

The location was easy to find and convenient. It's a short walk to Shinjuku-Sanchome subway station on the Shinjuku line. There are also several restaurants and convenience stores in the surrounding area.

I was a bit unsure about the window connecting the sleeping area and the unit bathroom. Is this really necessary? I also had some trouble finding the night clothing so this could certainly be better labelled.

Good value for money but small room and few amenities

Good location walkable to main area in shinjuku. Not super close to subway but still walkable to 2 lines. Overall comfortable room.

Room is not only very small but also doesn't have super good design to leverage well the dpace available. The room had only 2 power outlets. The breakfast decent, but was expensive for what is offered.
